He embraces Google's Zero Moment of Truth as guiding marketing force to create products and results that meet needs of users and technical demands of the platforms they use. He believes effective digital media research must rely on platforms and expected user experiences, as well as verifiable, common–sense metrics.  (Metrics can deceive --ex:  a website with mammoth page views and better-than-average CTs does not necessarily mean the strategy is working.) During his career with Gannett, he served as project manager for numerous successful web site launches.  His background blends an active management role with Gannett newsrooms, as leadership with the company’s transformation to a digital platform.
